The Victoria Police Department is located on the homelands of the Songhees Nation and Xwsepsum Nation. Our police officers, civilian employees, and volunteers have contributed to public safety and neighbourhood vibrancy since the department founded in 1858. Today, we proudly serve the City of Victoria and the Township of Esquimalt.
